Professional development to help SENCOs, Assessment Leads, Exams and Data Managers excel in their role
About our CPD courses
At Arbor, we believe your MIS isn't just a database - it should help your staff excel professionally and drive long-term, strategic impact for your schools. That's why we designed our CPD courses to help specialist staff like SENCOs, Assessment Leads and Data Managers learn the best practices in data management, reporting and analysis for their roles and get even more value out of Arbor.
Each CPD-accredited course is led by an expert Arbor trainer and your staff will learn alongside colleagues from other Arbor schools. They'll leave with an accreditation certificate, CPD credits to add to their CV, and a professional support network they can keep in touch with through our online community, Arbor HQ.
SENCO Core Accreditation
Price: £450 for up to three members of staff, 2x 2.5 hour sessions
Dates:
- Autumn term: 3rd and 10th October 2025, 9am - 11:30am
- Spring term: 23rd and 30th January 2026, 9:30am - 12pm
- Summer term: 1st and 8th May 2026, 9am - 11:30am
You'll learn:
- How to correctly add SEND information to Student Profiles
- Creating Custom Groups and User Defined Fields so you can manage and track groups of students
- Setting up and managing Interventions, Reviews, and Intervention Categories
Perfect for staff who are:
- A SENCO or member of staff who works closely with SEND data
- Confident on the basics of Arbor - you've been using it for at least one term and have completed initial training
- Able to access the Interventions module of Arbor (speak to us if you're not sure whether this applies to you)
Assessments Advanced Accreditation
Price: £350 per person for 3x 2-hour sessions
Dates:
- Autumn term: 7th, 8th and 9th October 2025, 1pm - 3pm
- Spring term: 27th, 28th and 29th January 2026, 10am - 12pm
- Summer term: 28th, 29th, 30th April 2026, 2pm - 4pm
You'll learn:
- How to edit and update your assessments without relying on Arbor support
- How to use the latest features we've added to Arbor assessments
- How to use the analytics tools in Arbor to get the most out of your data
Perfect for staff who are:
- An Assessment Lead, Data Manager or member of SLT with responsibility for assessment
- Confident on the basics of Arbor - you've been using it for at least one term and have completed initial training
- Already using the Assessment module in Arbor and you've already completed assessment setup and analysis training (speak to us if you need help setting up your assessments for the first time)
Exams Advanced Accreditation
Price: £350 per staff member for 3x 2-hour sessions
Dates:
- Autumn term: 11th Sept, 16th Oct and 18th Nov 2025
- Spring term: 22nd Jan, 3rd March and 23rd April 2026
- Summer term: 25th June, 7th July and 23rd July 2026
You'll learn:
- How to prepare for exams season in Arbor
- How to use Arbor to best effect during exams season, including attendance taking, revision sessions and calculating fees
- Managing results day, including grade changes following review and results analytics
Perfect for staff who are:
- An Exams Officer or member of staff with responsibility for exams
- The holder of the 'Exams Officer' business role in Arbor MIS
- Confident on the basics of Arbor - you've been using it for at least one term and have completed your initial training
