What is the Summer Fast Track Programme?

Our Summer Fast Track Programme, designed to help schools and trusts move to Arbor ahead of September, has now closed. However, you can still move to Arbor from Autumn term through our Pay-For-One Promise. The Pay-for-One Promise is our commitment that your school or trust should only pay for one MIS at a time. Put simply: if you’re locked into paying for SIMS, we won’t ask you to pay for your core Arbor license until that contract ends. You get all the benefits of switching to the UK’s leading cloud MIS, but don’t have to worry about double-paying in the process. Find out more here.

To help, we've created a dedicated “fast track” programme so you and your schools can see our MIS and make a decision quickly and confidently. You can then move by 1st September 2022.

We’ve created a streamlined process to help your team review Arbor over Spring Term. You’ll be guided by our expert Partnership Manager team to make sure you get all the information you need.

2. Move without double-paying

We’re offering a special Buy Now, Pay Later offer to schools using the programme - meaning your schools can switch to Arbor by September 2022, ensuring you don't double pay and you're not out of pocket.

Before you start

Request the break clause from SIMS by 20th February 2022

When: As soon as possible 

SIMS is now offering schools a 6 month break clause. It's a great way to buy yourself extra time, take a look at other MIS systems, and choose the best fit for your schools in Summer Term. Schools can even request the break clause if they’ve already signed up for the new 3 year contract. They must request the break clause by 20th February 2022 if you want to use it.

Speak with our friendly Partnership Specialists about your needs

When: Early Spring Term 2022

Get started by booking a call with an Arbor Partnership Specialist. They'll ask questions about your current MIS set-up to understand what you need from Arbor, which systems and apps you currently use, and who will be involved in the project. They'll use this information to tailor the Fast Track Programme to you. Below is an indication of what will likely happen next.

Step 2

Watch a product demo

When: Early Spring Term 2022

Once you've spoken to us, our Partnership Specialist team will advise you which product demos to join. We're running special introductory sessions for trust leaders to understand how Arbor works across your schools, our migration and onboarding process, and what makes us different. Your team and schools can also join full product demos tailored to primary, secondary and special schools.

Step 3

Meet your local Partnership Manager online

When: In early Spring Term 2022 if you work with secondaries, or by early Summer Term 2022 if you work with primaries

Alongside your product demos, we'll book an online meeting for you and your local Partnership Manager. This is time for you to ask any questions you might have about our systems, the migration process, or pricing. Your Partnership Manager will arrange any further demos or calls you need to help you make a decision.

Step 4

Receive a proposal, choose your moving date, and sign your contract

When: By 9th May 2022 if you work with secondaries, or by 17th June if you work with primaries

Finally, your Partnership Manager will prepare a personalised proposal for your team to review. They will also discuss migration dates with you for your schools. When you have agreed these dates, they will share a contract for you to review and sign. You must sign your contract by 9th May 2022 to move secondary schools to Arbor by September 2022, or by 17th June 2022 to move primary schools to Arbor by September.

Step 5

Move to Arbor 

When: September 2022

Once you've signed your contract, we'll start helping you and your schools get ready to move to Arbor! We're committing to help you move by September 2022 if you sign by 9th May 2022 (secondary schools) or 17th June 2022 (primary schools), and you'll have more choice over the date the sooner you sign.

The Summer Fast Track Offer

Buy Now, Pay Later

As part of our Summer Fast Track Programme, you're eligible for our special Buy Now, Pay Later offer. Under this offer, sign before 9th May 2022 if you work with secondaries, or 17th June if you work with primaries, and your schools can move to Arbor for free and not pay until 1st December 2022. Your first invoice will be backdated to 1st September 2022 (the latest date you could go live on this programme).
